So in my last post, I mentioned how I always do something wrong in the theatre world.
Well, last Thursday, I failed big time. 2 words: pink paint.
3 more words: all over ground.
Let me tell you the sweet story of how I suck at this thing called “not doing something that can be labeled as epic fail.”
It’s not really THAT bad, the words everyone is using to calm me down. It isn’t, now that I look back at it. It’s just, I had a lot of paint cans, and there is no smooth rolling from over the curb near the truck outside of the Paul Green scene shop.
I guess I’ll explain why I was outside in the first place. Well, there wasn’t a really good shopping cart rolling path from the elevator to the paint dump (which is inside the tool lock up in Paul Green), so I had to take the path outside. It involves holding up the cart over the curb.
Well it didn’t work out, to say the least.
There were a lot of empty cans on the shopping cart. But there were also at least 2 cans of paint that were completely solid because stupid people didn’t close the lid right. (And I might speculate myself but I used the hammer and noticed solid paint before I know to throw them out.) And there were also a couple cans that were full of nasty smelly paint due to them being in the paint closet for forever. So, the cart was heavy. And, it fell. And lucky I got myself out of the way or else I would be crushed. But one can of pink paint wasn’t closed properly. AND it is indeed my fault. I didn’t close them up so well because they were going in the paint dump anyway. Why waste effort opening up the paint cans again, right? Wrong. There goes pink paint near the truck outside of the Paul Green Theatre.
Some guy (I think his name is TJ) helped me put sawdust on it. I went ahead to dump out the paint. Eric hosed it down. Everyone was calm except for me. I didn’t say too much but internally, I was screaming and freaking out a lot.
There is a huge pink spot there now. And there is pink on the shopping cart that belongs to the props master.
Yeah, I know someone up there really hates me.

good job ^^ I wasn’t there but it doesn’t seem as big a deal as you make it out to be. Pink ground looks better anyway, it’s like being in the land of OZ sorta. Honestly, it could’ve been anyone, you’re not *especially* lazy ms.i-do-all-my-hw-wayyy-ahead, but that’s pretty unlucky. Too bad you didn’t get any in your hair though. Yes, your hair would’ve been stuck together, but it could be a new trend.
btw, I really like your site’s design. It’s a template isn’t it? I want to design my own webpage and I’ll be stealing some of the stylistic nuances.
